Those with a busy schedule can take advantage of the auction operator’s unique preliminary bidding system, which allows you to place your maximum bid on the vehicle(s) of your interest, 24 hours a day, at any time up to one hour before the virtual auction. This system is called BID4U.

BID4U makes the bidding process easier and more efficient: You simply enter the maximum price you are willing to pay for the lot during preliminary bidding, and BID4U will bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid during the virtual auction.

You may even win the car at a lower price than your maximum bid! For example: If your maximum bid is $2,000 and the virtual auction stops at $1,200 with you as the higher bidder, you get the vehicle for $1,200.

Please note that your maximum bid is absolutely confidential.

If you place a bid during preliminary bidding and no one outbids you prior to the start of the live auction, you would be the highest bidder and as a result will not be able to participate in the live auction.
For this reason, we recommend two courses of action—either place your maximum bid during preliminary bidding, or simply wait to place your bid until during the live auction.
