If there’s a chance you won’t be available at the time of delivery, you can designate an agent or family member to sign on your behalf when the vehicle arrives.

If, for some reason, there is no one to accept delivery and sign, the vehicle will either stay on the trailer for redelivery at a later time or, if no space is available for the vehicle to be kept on the trailer, your vehicle(s) will be placed in a storage facility until you can arrange direct pickup or rearrange redelivery to your house. 

In this event, you will be charged for storage and/or redelivery fees, but this is easy to avoid by simply planning ahead of time and viewing the real-time status of the shipment on your account page.
