The required security deposit for bidding on our platform depends on your membership type and the number of vehicles you intend to bid on.
Starter Account: A fixed deposit of $500 is required, which allows you to bid up to $5,000 on one vehicle at a time. If you wish to bid on multiple lots simultaneously or place a bid exceeding $5,000, you will need to upgrade to a Standard, Premium, or PRO account.
Standard, Premium, and PRO Accounts: The standard deposit is $600 or 10% of your desired bid amount, whichever is greater. This enables you to place bids according to your chosen limit and membership privileges. If you plan to bid on multiple vehicles at the same time, the deposit must be calculated for each vehicle individually — for example, $600 per vehicle. Promotional Offer for New Customers: Regardless of your membership type, newly registered users can start bidding with a reduced security deposit of $400, which allows bidding on one vehicle up to a total of $4,000.
